New Aura Allure for high-end tanning
Combining the reliability of Earlex systems (after all, Wagner now owns Earlex), the ingenuity of Wagner, and finally offering a real answer to the glossiness of the Tanning Essentials systems, the new Aura machine is set to revolutionise the market.
A quick low-down of the British tanning machine market as it is now:
- Earlex: the traditional leaders in the UK, Earlex is known for its HV5008 (now the TS50) and TS20 tanning systems. These machines have been the workhorses of the industry for years, but in 2014, the Swiss-German Wagner group acquired Earlex. Its Guildford premises are now one of the main European fulfilment sites for the Wagner group.
- Wagner: the world leader in HVLP, Wagner was a little late to the tanning party, only becoming seriously involved in 2012. It adapted its technology and spray tan guns further in 2013 and 2014, moving away from that ‘DIY look’ and offering something a little more attractive to the tanning professional.
- Tanning Essentials: these eye-catching systems certainly look the part, but have known performance issues. Still, they have dominated certain segments of the market due to their glossy appearance to date – a trend that, we’re sure, the Aura Allure will seek to overturn.
- eBay: this marketplace is full of Chinese tanning machines. Whilst they might look like a cheap and attractive bargain at first, they quickly become a liability for any tanning business.
The Wagner options:
- W610: This machine may look little, but it packs a real tanning punch. Featured on TV several times with MyTan London spray tan solutions, the MyTan W610 is our favourite tanning machine on the market right now. Available in black or pink.
- W670: The W670 'Click N Tan' was originally Wagner's answer to the Earlex TS50. Revamped in late 2014 under the 'click n tan' label, this system offers superior reliability and performance, for a fantastic price.
- Aura Allure: just launched, the Aura Allure combines all of the high-end performance features of the W670, but in a stunning, luxury salon design.
